Kinja'd!!!

Yo dawg, I have Jeep headlamps in my Jeep headlamps.

Kinja'd!!!

And I also have this “No Step” stamp, which I thought was a legit safety mark! When I bought this thing I thought, “Damn, there are some dumbass kids out there!” But now I think, “Damn, there is some dumbass branding in here!”

If you have some easter eggs in or on your car, let’s see them. Steve’s Meep would decimate all of us for Most Easter Eggs Found in One Car , so we won’t bother with a competition.

I don’t think it counts, but I have pony projection lamps

If money and engineering were placed into something that doesn’t need to exist, I count it as an easter egg. Especially when they are as badass as that pony. The Genesis Sedan displays the Winged Badge, but the Mustang is just far cooler! Ford needs to animate it for the next gen!

not really an easter egg, but I was surprised/excited when I found it.a little button in the gauge cluster to change the cluster lights. There is also a button on the radio to turn all the button lights off.

I would never make it anywhere on time with a button like that!

I would also count the “Ground Speed” on your speedometer as an Easter Egg and any plaques that I’m sure are in that car.

Do you consider breaking down or having more cylinders than necessary Easter Eggs. There is a small star stamped on the tiny key that lives in the Key/fob thing

That’s a good one! “The only way to know it, is to own it,” style of info!

My truck does not, but my mom’s Cruze has little bow ties on the headlight.

My Dyna doesn’t have a tach.

Oh wait, yes it does:

Sometime I need to take photos of the 17 M badges on the car (even though it isn’t an M car). That’s like an Easter egg hunt.

I still don’t understand why you would do an analog speedo and a digital tach. Most annoying thing in the world to me.

My 5th gen Prelude has nods to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gens in a few places, but not sure if that counts.

There is a tiny ac vent in my glove box. If you ran the ac full blast for like 10 hours, it might put a slight chill into a bottle of water.

they’re seriously under-square engines. they run out of oomph before you get to the redline.

I don’t know if it’s an easter egg so much as a idiosyncratic design choice, but the little opening on the left (above the break pedal) is the “coin stowage compartment.” I only found out what it was supposed to be when I went through the workshop manual.

(Not my car, but it photographs better on a light interior)

Related, but non-automotive. This was on the main board of the Cisco GSR 12K series routers. At introduction, these were the flagship product. They were large and fast, a Big Fu(&ing Router.

I thought on a Jaguar, the pedal on the right hand side was the “Break” pedal.
